Our studio head, James Brooksby, was recently interviewed over at wootfly.tv. This is a cool new site that focuses on emphasising giving the creative side of games creation (as in the developers) a chance to speak out, or in the words of the site’s founder Joel Benton “the people that make games are as interesting and engaging as the people that make TV, films and music – they’re just not as well known. Wootfly.tv is trying to change that, one casual chat at a time”. The videos also use a fair bit of nifty tagging too whenever certain subjects are discussed. In any case, James’ interview is linked below.
James Brooksby, our studio head, was recently interviewed over at Game Careers.biz about doublesix and the fact that our studio looks like a messy kids bedroom (it really does). Thankfully, they were kind enough to upload the interview as a video to YouTube, shown below. Despite the bizarre green screen effect, which gives James a fuzzy purple hairdo, it does cover the fact that we have three super tip-top secret games in production (self published too). In any case, enjoy the video below and guesses as to what we’re making next on an electronic postcard…
Those lovely people over at PS3 Attitude interviewed us about the upcoming “In Space” DLC and patches, as well as various other things too (including the next planned DLC pack). With any luck, the closer we get to the “In Space” launch, we’ll have more cool things to announce in the coming weeks.
Jim was interviewed a while back by Brandon Sheffield for GameSetWatch about Burn Zombie Burn! and what doublesix is up to (but the article was only posted yesterday). It’s quite a thorough piece and covers lots of ground about digital download games in general.
Jim was recently interviewed about Burn Zombie Burn over on PS3Attitude. It goes into quite a bit of detail, especially on the aforementioned Dev Scores. We’ve also created a Facebook fanpage for the game and will be using it to promote some interesting new developments over the coming months.
Here is an interview with Jim Mummery, our creative director, and a review of Burn Zombie Burn! by the people from HipHopGamer. They’re quite enthusiastic and seem to enjoy the game quite a bit, which is great!
What with Burn Zombie Burn’s release merely a few days away, I got interviewed over at The Sixthaxis about the game. There are a few of these on the way, so we’ll endeavour to post all the pertinent links we receive.
