The reviews for Burn Zombie Burn have been coming thick and fast. One of our favourites has to be Tom Chick’s as he brazenly states the game is worth buying a PlayStation 3 for, which is a wonderful endorsement if ever there was one.
We’ve also been reading on various forums that some people think that the final Dev Scores have been “plucked out of thin air”. The scores were actually set by us after some pretty mammoth gaming sessions. So they’re real scores set by real people, specifically by the chap you see below…
Just so people know we’re also planning on releasing an update for Burn Zombie Burn in the near future. We can’t go into too much detail at the moment but make sure to watch this space!
Here is an interview with Jim Mummery, our creative director, and a review of Burn Zombie Burn! by the people from HipHopGamer. They’re quite enthusiastic and seem to enjoy the game quite a bit, which is great!
Over the weekend Burn Zombie Burn! received a few nice reviews, notably from IGN and 1up. Both of which actually covered the game’s mechanics in decent detail, which is suitably refreshing. Our YouTube channel also saw an increase in traffic over the weekend with a fair few people leaving some very nice comments indeed!
What with Burn Zombie Burn’s release merely a few days away, I got interviewed over at The Sixthaxis about the game. There are a few of these on the way, so we’ll endeavour to post all the pertinent links we receive.
In light of the upcoming release of Burn Zombie Burn, our creative director Jim Mummery has been going the rounds promoting how great the game is. The first instance was for Start/Select, who came over to our offices to play the game (lovely chaps they were too). Our game appears towards the end of the video. The second interview was a dedicated piece on the game. Enjoy!
Jim was quizzed over at Now Gamer about our upcoming game Burn Zombie Burn! Don’t forget that the game is out on March 26th, which is two weeks from today.
As we mentioned previously, Geometry Wars: Galaxies (DS) was nominated for a BAFTA not that long ago. The awards were last night and whilst we didn’t win, we at doublesix feel obliged to congratulate the wondrous team at Level 5 for their victory with Professor Layton and the Curious Village. It’s a great game and one that deserves recognition.
