StrikeSuit

Much about our upcoming space-action game – Strike Suit Zero – remains shrouded in mystery. It’s somewhat of a galactic enigma, an undiscovered planet, a star obscured by a thick blanket of space-fog, and we’re finally ready to start shedding some light on it. To help uncover some of the facts, we’re allowing you – our cherished community – to throw some questions to both the doublesix team and Junji Okubo, who designed the Strike Suit itself.

Got a burning question? Fire away in the comments section below this post, whack it on the wall of the official Strike Suit Zero Facebook page, or Tweet it to the new SSZ Twitter page@StrikeSuitZero. These questions will then be addressed – personally, by members of the doublesix team and Junji himself – in a video feature we’ll be releasing in the not-too-distant future.

keep your eyes on both the doublesix blog and the Strike Suit Zero website for more soon.

The most important question is when does the game come out? Space shooters like Omega Boost and Colony Wars have been severely lacking the last decade and I’m eager to give this a go.

Will this game be out on all platforms? Been really lacking good space games on the 360.

How many different suits and weapons are there going to be in the final game?

Hi. its an euphemism to say that I’m excited by SSZ’s promises. Here’s a salvo of questions :
- Will there be a coop mode? Or multiplayer modes?
- Can you give us some hints about mission objective types?
- Will the capital ships have subsystems to destroy like Starlancer?
- Will there be indoor sections?
- Will it be possible in mecha mode to walk along the surface of ships or stations like in Heavy Gear 2 in space missions?
- I’ve read there will be several pilots and suits, does this mean that much plot branches?
- Does it have a more precise release date than summer ’12?
- You say here XLA/PSN/Steam, but the official website only shows PSN/Steam
- When do I stop asking question?

I just remembered something else: Are you guys familiar with the concept of Itano Circus? If so, can we expect to see a lot of that in a huge scale? Missiles, bending lasers, you name it.

Will there be bosses in a more traditional shmup-like way? (I mean, very distinct bosses, perhaps with their own badass song to accompany them)

Are the suits going to only have the two modes (ie. mech and starship) or are there going to be other variants on the transformation?
Also are the different Strike Suits going to have more than cosmetic differences? If so what is the level of differentiation? Stats like armor and speed or weapons types?
This game looks awesome!! Please send us some info soon!!

People have already asked the major questions but I’ll add a few.

- What were some of your inspirations for developing Strike Suit Zero?

- Is the story an important part of the game?

- Can you detail the control scheme?

Thanks
