New BZB patch live in Europe

The new patch for Burn Zombie Burn went live in Europe today. This introduces the new Survival mode as well as Casual and Extreme difficulty settings we’ve talked about. In addition, there are now more leaderboards too, with the Co-Op ones giving us a nice warm glow in the office. However, some issues have surfaced because there are versions of the game out of sync with this new patch.
Due to the delay of the American patch specifically, this means the global leaderboards are out of sync with the new levels in the patched version of the game. In plain English, this means that some scores submitted in the these levels will be incorrectly entered onto different boards.
Don’t worry though, all scores are saved on your machine locally and when the American patch is released we’ll wipe down the boards – so you will be able to resubmit your scores correctly.
In any case, for those of you in Europe that bought the game you now have even more gaming content to play around with for absolutely free.
Finally, the In Space DLC will also be hitting the PSN store shortly after the release of the American patch. We’ll also be doing some superplay videos next week for the new In Space levels.
Having just officially become a “Friend of d6″, I really cannot wait for the DLC to hit stateside. As I said previously, this is first day purchase for me (even if the trophies aren’t quite as hard).
Will the Canadian release date be the same day as the American release date?

Hey guys, Awesome game!
Real quick… I just synched the update on PSN. I noticed a couple of strange things however.
1. Under the Scoreboard > High Scores > [Level], my high score is listed under friends and at the bottom of the screen. Before the patch only the friends appeared under friends scores, my score was at the bottom of the screen.
2. Under Scoreboard > High Scores, the list of levels appears to go on forever (it actually doesn’t because the down arrow disappears). There is no sound to signify that you’ve come to the end of the list like in other parts of the game.
Is this related to data sync error mentioned above?

1. This is because we have more boards now, so it’s intentional basically. Look at the button call outs at the bottom of the screen to see what I mean.
2. That’s to do with the new DLC packs on the way. It’s not a bug.
Some good BZB support at our place. Whens the next DLC due out fellas? Also any plans on cranking down the difficulty of those gold medals ? I dont know one single gamer who has conquered BZB and i know quite a few !
