Our fearless but eminently cheerful creative director, Jim Mummery, wrote the first in a two part piece discussing what designers really are and where they come from in relation the history of video games. Titled “Tightening up the Graphics on Level Three” it’s garnered quite a bit of interest, as it dispels the convenient PR myth that designers are a new kind of dictatorial rock star. Something that a few wannabe attention seekers aren’t entirely happy about. The second piece will probably be done sometime in the new year.
