As of yesterday, Burn Zombie Burn is now finally available on Steam. Like the PS3 version before it all the modes and levels are present (except multiplayer). It also supports keyboard and mouse obviously but if you have a game pad then we strongly recommend using that if you can. If you buy it now you even get a 10% discount!

Hi.
Is it possible to somehow enable an adequate mouse crosshair in this game?
I tried using a gamepad and I found it uncomfortable.
We’re already had a 2D crosshair a while back but it didn’t line up with the bullets (as the game camera is at an angle). We are planning to implement a 3D crosshair at some point soon though.
Thank you for this response. I am looking forward to having true mouse aim when you guys fix it. I’ll wait to play it until then.
Please fix the controls on the PC port. Keyboard/mouse in its current implementation is only the lesser of two evils; gamepad is unusable. You made a dual stick top-down shooter, please enable dual stick controls for gamepad and a crossfair for keyboard/mouse.
It’s not a dual stick shooter. The shooting mechanics we used in BZB were borne out of necessity due to the inclusion of melee weapons and, most importantly, that of the torch. Specifically, the torch allows you to run through non-flaming zombies unharmed but if you were able to change the direction of the torch pointed in relation to the way Bruce is moving you’ll get hit from behind. Dual stick controls work very well with shooting mechanics but when you start adding a variety of melee approaches (from baseball bats, to chainsaws and lawnmowers) its flaws become very apparent.
Why is there no local coop at the PC version and/or will you deliver it later in a patch???
The reason why the PC version lacks local multiplayer is down to how the code team had to re-write the input manager from the PS3 version. We are planning on patching it back in though.
Nice
I hope that will happen soon because I imagine this game is much fun on local coop.
I hope you folks are looking into the crash on startup problem that a bunch of users are experiencing. There are posts in the related Steam forum about the problem. One pattern that seemed apparent is myself and a handful of others are using Crossfire, for whatever that’s worth.
Yeah, we are looking into this. We’ll keep everyone posted on this obviously.
I’m really enjoying the PC version, thanks for porting it over for us. Crosshairs for mouse control and multiplayer for everyone would be awesome though. Cheers.
I am not expecting to have local-co mode in game (more works needed for developers). But please make a crosshair..Thanks
The game still needs some work but the idea is great, Great game play.
Fun to play and even more so if it gets the crosshair, right now bruce does not aim where I want him to, half of the time
Of course, coop would be awesome too… (I would even pay a few bucks extra for that, I think)
still no local coop
Unfortunately, no. We only had time to update the crosshairs. Sorry.
I bought the game on Steam, despite having the game on the PS3. I wonder if there is any plan to put a co-op in the PC version, not just local, but one in which we can play with our friends, since that is the intention of steam and would be the best option presented in the game, much to help sales. Sorry for my English.
Will the PC version ever get the DLC the PSN version has?
